WIM is the solo project of Karn "Kasidej" Hongladaromp, a Thai singer-songwriter, composer, and actor who first gained recognition as one half of the breezy indie-pop duo HYBS. In 2021, Karn reunited with long-lost friend Alyn Wee to form HYBS under the JUICEY label, debuting with the song “Ride”. Their soulful, genre-blending sound quickly gained popularity, culminating in the Best Indie of the Year award at The Guitar Mag Awards 2023. After the duo disbanded in January 2024, Karn embarked on a deeply personal solo journey under the name WIM, a name inspired by the question: "Who Is Me?"

WIM represents a new chapter in Karn's artistic evolution. As a songwriter, composer, producer, and actor, he continues to leave a heartfelt mark on Asia’s indie music scene, now weaving his signature blend of indie pop, soul, and R&B into a solo vision that is both introspective and emotionally rich. His music shifts fluidly between joyful, uplifting rhythms and calm, reflective moods—inviting listeners into an intimate, shared emotional experience.

Karn's background includes graduating from Suankularb Wittayalai School, then studying at Rangsit University’s Faculty of Music, and winning the prestigious 24th KPN singing contest.

Through WIM, he crafts a soundscape that is not only musically refined but visually evocative—connecting elements of fashion, visual storytelling, and Eastern aesthetics with universal emotions. His recent works, such as “BLACK” and “shikisai”, reflect this blend of eclectic influences with a distinctively Asian lens, earning high praise for both their sonic identity and stunning visuals.
